Seeking individual therapy can be a scary process! Many times when people think about psychotherapy they often imagine lying on a leather couch talking to an intimidating therapist who takes notes on everything they say in order bring deeply buried thoughts and feelings to the conscious mind so that can be examined. Well, fear NOT because we have couches but lying on them is optional.
Individual therapy actually looks different for each person. Together you will work one-on-one with a therapist to identify your needs and goals. A plan is then collaboratively developed to assist you in reaching your objectives. During sessions you will be given warmth, empathy, patience, genuineness and a non-judgmental environment to help you on your journey.
